Youtube Different Operating Computer Android Iphone & Ipad Devices Detailed Review

1. Computer

How you navigate YouTube depends on if you are signed in. On a phone or tablet, you’ll know you’re signed in by tapping Account  If you’re on a computer, look at the top right of your YouTube screen. If you’re signed in, you’ll see your name or username, and if you’re not, you’ll see the prompt to Sign in. This article covers the signed in experience.

If you’re new to YouTube or have not signed in, you can display the most popular videos and highlights from categories like home, music, sports, and gaming.

Once you’ve signed in, the navigation bar at the top of each YouTube page can easily identify the content that you care about. Search results may influence your preferences and activity on YouTube.

If you can not follow these instructions, you’re probably using an older version of YouTube. If you’re using a new browser, update to the current version of YouTube.

Browse the homepage, trending, subscriptions, history, saved videos to watch later, access to YouTube Red and YouTube Movies (if applicable) and Account Settings.

Home

The homepage highlighted videos recommended for you from your subscriptions and watch history. Video recommendations will be affected by your preferences and activity on YouTube.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions allow you to view recent uploads from your subscriptions.

Trending

Trending now allows you to discover popular videos on YouTube. You can scroll all the videos or choose the specific category (such as music, news or gaming) to watch videos in that case.

History

History shows you your watch history list. See later Watch Later List of selected videos by clicking on the icon you saw next.

Purchases

Purchases will move you to a page with your paid channel subscriptions, movie purchases or rentals, and live event purchases. Learn more about paid content on YouTube.

Channel logo

Open the top channel icon on the page or switch to the dark mode to access your channel, creator studio, and help. You can switch between channels and sign out.

To switch to a different channel that you manage:

  1. In the top right corner of youtube.com, click your channel icon.

  2. Click Switch account. You’ll see a list of the Accounts that you manage, as well as your Google Account identity.

  3. Click the account you want to use. If you choose a Brand Account that doesn’t have a channel, you can create a channel for that page.

You can always check the name and icon in the top right corner to confirm what channel you’re currently using.

Creator Studio includes your dashboard, video manager, analytics and more.

If you already see music videos, you’ll also see popular content and YouTube Mix. Home feed can be found at any time by tapping the home.

Trending

The Trending tab lets you know what’s trending on YouTube. It has a wide range of popular videos now. You can scroll all the videos or choose specific category (such as music, news or gaming) to watch videos in that case.

Subscriptions

The subscriptions tab will only watch videos from the channels you subscribe to. You will also see a list of channels above. Pressing on the channel art takes you to that channel.

Activity tab

Your ads and shared videos are in the Activity tab. Learn more about sharing videos and managing ads.

Library

The Library tab is home to your viewing history, uploads, purchases and playlists.

Account

There is an account for your account information and settings. Also, from here you can switch between accounts. Do this by pressing the arrow next to your name.

Search search

The other icon search icon you see. Enter what you’re looking for, and filter out results, videos,To link to a specific part of the video, check this box and enter the start time before you copy the link. For example, to start the video at 2 minutes and 30 seconds channels, or playlists. Search results may influence your preferences and activity on YouTube.

3. I Phone & I pad

Switch between channels

On YouTube, you can only the use one channel at a time. Use the instructions below to the switch between the YouTube channels that you can have connected to the same Google Account.
